Dive Rites radically updated TransPac XT now provides a true Mountaineer Backpack Design with an Integrated Hip Belt, Molded Foam Lumbar Support and Ergonomic Shoulder Pads. Available in sizes XS-XXL with Easy Customization Options at the Shoulder and Waist-Plate, the TransPac XT is designed to fit any size diver, including children.
The TransPac XT evenly Balances Weight Across the Hips and Back Distributing the Weight of Single or Double Tanks. The Wrap-Around Hip Belt made of Dual Density Foam, Snugly Hugs the Lower Back giving Critical Support and Cushioning. Narrow, Double-Foam Shoulder Pads Fit Perfectly beneath the 2" (5.1 cm) Shoulder Webbing to give Chafe-Free Comfort. The High-Tech, Molded Foam Lumbar Pad is contoured in all the right places with Mesh Airflow Channels for Instant Draining Topside and doubles as a Lift-Bag Sleeve with an Integrated Pocket. Chest-Support Strap provides Ultimate Load Distribution and when used with the removable, 1.5" (3.8 cm) Crotch Strap provides outstanding Stability and Comfort in the water. Transition Plates at the Shoulders allow for Quick Addition/Deletion of Hardware and Finite Adjustments. Dual Cam Straps with Stainless Steel Buckles are positioned to give plenty of head room for easy maneuvering in the water.
Neutrally buoyant, the TransPac XT weighs less than 5lbs (2.29kg) and packs flat for travel. Optional Weight Pockets (see SKU: DIV3300) slide easily onto the Waist Belt. The Soft Backpack is 1,000-Denier Ballistic Nylon and the Side Plates and Hardware are Marine Grade Stainless Steel. The Shoulder Straps feature Pivot Rings at Chest and Acetyl-Resin Squeeze Style" Quick-Release Buckles for easy Don/Doff. There are Four 2" (5.1 cm) D-Rings on each Shoulder Strap on sizes M-XXL and 2 each on XS & SM. The Harnesses 2" (5.1 cm) Nylon Webbing is rated to 7,000 lbs (3175 kg) Breaking Strength. The TransPac XT weighs 4.25 lbs to just less than 5 lbs (1.93 to 2.26 kg) depending on size.
DIV5400 Dive Rite Classic XT Wing: The Classic XT is an Adjustable Lift Wing, sporting an Optional Gusset Control System Cord that can be used to further Streamline the Wing for Wreck Diving Penetrations or Smaller Size Doubles. The Classic XT offers 65 lbs (27.2 kg) of Lift, accommodating two 104 cubic feet (17-liter) Back Mounted Cylinders and two 80 cubic feet (11- liter) Stage Bottles. The Classic XT is for use solely with Double Tanks.
The XT Wing Series is built upon the Legendary Toughness of Super-Fabric Brand Technology, a Technical Fabric Resistant to Cuts, Pinches and Abrasions. This Unique Material has been created with a Base Fabric Overlaid with Tiny Guard Plates, this Proprietary Armored Surface, along with Material Science and Strategic Geometric Patterns, transforms ordinary fabric into Super-Fabric Brand Materials. The material maintains its Flexibility and Breathability, yet keeps Sharp Objects from Penetrating.
Dive Rite has married Super-Fabric with a 1,000-Denier Cordura Inner Shell to create an Armor-Clad Outer-Bag that is Impervious to Damaging Pinches and Cuts. The XT line's Toughness is further enhanced with a Heavy-Duty, Radio Frequency (RF) Welded 210-Denier Nylon Urethane Laminated Bladder. The XT has Urethane Flanges Welded in place which makes it easy to switch out Corrugated Hose and Over-Pressure Relief Valves without tools. The XT comes with either a 16" or 12" (40.6 or 30.5 cm) Elbowed Inflator and a Low Pressure Hose for attachment to the First-Stage Regulator. Wing has a Lower Left Front Over-Pressure Relief/Dump Valve. Two Sets of Marine-Grade 316-Stainless Steel Grommet Mounting Holes are used to attach the Wing to the Harness and Set Divers Trim. The XT measures approximately (H x W) 24" x 26" (60.9 x 66 cm) deflated and weighs 3 lbs (1.3 kg).
DIV2084 Dive Rite Transpac Stabilizer Plates for Doubles: The Stainless Steel TransPac Stabilizing Plates firmly secure a TransPac to any Set of Double Tanks that use Industry-Standard Bands and Bolts. They are Curved to Fit the Spacing of Double Tanks, and are the only item needed to connect a TransPac Harness and a Wing to a Set of Double Tanks (a hard back-plate is not needed). The TransPac Harness and the Wing end up being sandwiched between the double tanks and the Stabilizing Plates, with the Stabilizing Plates functioning like large washers. The Package comes with Owner Manuals and is covered by Dive Rite's Limited Lifetime Warranty. Transpac Package is proudly made in the USA.
