Shopper Is this octo rated for cold water?
GARY B I am not sure, but I don't think it is. However, it is a very compact low profile octo and I have been happy with it.
TRACEY E I've dove it in 41 degrees with no free flow problems. The magnet sucks, though.
SHAWN S I have used this reg in 45deg fresh water. Works well. The magnet is not very strong would recommend getting a holder for thus Octo reg.
LAURENCE G I have made over 40 dives with my Oceanic Swivel Octopus and it remains a reliable piece of equipment. However, most of my dives have been in warm/cool waters (68-80 degree F range). Hope this helps.
MIKE W I live in the chicago area and have used it in mid to upper 40s. I love it.
MICHAEL M "When I purchased this regulator, all my diving is in the Caribbean or South Pacific area. For my diving conditions, this regulator has worked fine. You might want to ask the manufacturer or perhaps Scuba Dive Magazine for the answer to your question."
MARKUS D Yes. I live in Mass. and ice dive in the winter with it, and have used it in Iceland in the winter -- 39*F.
