Shopper Do you also need to change out the yoke on the first stage?
PAUL D Yes, you need a threaded din yoke adapter.
SCOTT N This is the for the First stage. You will remove ( unscrew ) the Yoke and insert this in its place. Remember to use the rubber cover as the DIN does not have the waterproof nipple ( red plastic button ) thats on the current Yoke. The current Yoke attachment is tough to unscrew, limited room for wrench i would recommend taking to a dive shop and having them unscrew it atleast.
I would also buy the Yoke Coverter...which looks identical to your current Yoke. Its purpose is for you to be able to connect back to a standard tank wit the quick connect conversion. it screws into the DIN where your old Yoke won't. If you ever have to connect to a standard tank .ie rental or borrowed tank thats not DIN you can do so easily.
MICHAEL B This does change out the yoke on the first stage. If you want to take your stock Oceanic regulators that you've been using on yoke tanks and use them on din tanks instead, this is all you need. It does require a fairly specialized wrench to install though, a big one with thin walls. It's probably best if you take it to the shop and let them change it out for you, that's what I did.
Mike P Yes. This replaces the yoke. If you plan on doing this yourself it is very easy. When I changed mine over I used a large adjustable wrench to remove the yoke and the correct sized wrenches to install it.
ANDREW B The DIN conversion will replace the yoke completely. It screws into the air inlet port on the first stage. You will need a yoke adapter to use it with standard tanks. You should get one for your save a dive kit if you plan on traveling, because DIN tanks are not as common in places like the Caribbean.

DAVID J This replaces the yoke assemble and converts the yoke first stage to a din. A standard yoke tank can still be used if you have a din to yoke adaptor
EDWARD M Yes I converted my Aries to a din.
