Computer worked great for the first 5 dives, then the problems started. At first I was having problems charging the unit (which by the way you have to do pretty much every day you are diving).
The charging problem was resolved by changing the USB cable.

Then started having problems pairing transmitter to the computer. In the middle of the dive I lost the integration, good thing I had the regular console to see my air. After multiple attempts to pair the unit to the transmitter and failing, changed the battery on the transmitter. That works OK for 2 dives, then the same problem happened. Will try to repair the unit, but this problems should not happen to a computer with 8 dives on it!

First dive computer I bought. Glad I spent the money. This is the perfect computer for beginner and professional alike. I've had divers with 300+ dives comment on how much the computer does. And it doubles as a locator light on night/low-viz dives. This is the perfect dive computer for those of us with ADD... even if I get distracted, the computer has audible and visual alarms to warn me.

Although a bit large on the wrist, I love this computer. The color graphics and screen layouts are very intuitive. You can see the information that is most important at a glance. You can switch between graphic representations or numbers at will.
Deco stops are clearly displayed.
I have other computers where it is difficult to remember what a particular reading if representing. With this one it is clear as can be.
The only downside it that you need to charge the battery after every day of diving. Even when the unit is not in use, the battery continues to drain on its own.

The personnel at Leisurepro have been great. That being said, I was (and am) concerned about the lack of Air Integration for this Computer. While the High Definition Display, Ease of Use, Digital Compas, and a clean GUI are all great reasons to buy this product, the promise of Air Integration was what mad me decide to move forward. It has been more then a year and a half since I first purchased this computer and still no Air Integration. I would recommend that MARES under promise and over deliver instead of over promissing. In short, probably the best computer on the market IF the air integration gets finished.

I love this computer. Easy to use and view both above and below water.. It has an electronic Compass and multiple gases configurations for Nitrox. Rechargeable battery. I can go 6 - 8 dives before the need to recharge. Recharges via the USB connection and charging station adapter, home PC or other USB charging device. The display is clear, colorful and very visible underwater due to the back lighting of TFT screen. The DiveOrganizer software needs some work. This is new software that has bugs but usable. I have upgraded the firmware twice since I bought it and it was easy to do with the USB connection provided with the computer. Very nice semi-hard case keep everything together. The only thing lacking is air integration. This has been promised for some time now moving from spring 2009 to autumn 2010. According to Mares once available you can return your current model to the distributor and pay the difference for the air integrated model. A pretty sweet deal to get a brand new Icon and a transmitter for the price of the transmitter. Will be on pare with the Scubapro Galileo when air integration arrives.
