Lindsay W Will these straps/buckles fit the older Mares, the Plana Avanti model?
FREDERICK H I purchased my Mares/Volo fins in 2001. These buckles fit those (and they're pretty old) but I can't attest for Avantis...................
JEFFREY K To the best of my knowledge the fin attachment points have not changed. You should look and ensure the fins you want to use the straps on have a round attachment post. Hope this helps. If all else fails direct this question to mares customer service dept
DEB B they fit mine, but make absolutely sure that these do not have the red locking assembly. I bought fins with these thinking they were the ones in this photo and almost broke my fingers trying to open them. AND Leisure Pro would not replace them; had to buy new ones.
The ones in the photo are OK but be sure to call them and find out what model they are and if they have the RED lock system.
