K T Make sure that you understand the return policy. Note that you want to wear a dive sock (not dive boot) with these fins. Thus, you need a size that is about 1.5 above your normal size. For you that would be 9.5 ladies, which translates to a fin size of 40/41.

Shopper I'm interested in switching from TUSA Zoom open heal to full foot fins. Read many good reviews about Super-Channel. Any advice about picking full foot fins & what you're hearing from customers?
K T I switched to full-foot fins and I really like it but make sure that you get a size that does not squeeze your foot. Also, wear dive socks to prevent blisters. A word of caution... if you are doing boat dives, it is a little bit harder to get up on the boat. It takes extra time to take them off or climb the ladder.
GARY C This fin runs large. I wear 8.5 - 9 shoes and wear a 6.5-7.5 fin.
OMAR E I switched a few years ago from an open heal to full foot and haven't looked back. I have less fatigue and more flexibility. I use a lycra sock with the Mares Avanti Super-Channel Full Foot Fins.
MARK G Fellow diver: I purchased the fins to take to a tropical dive resort. They packed well. I did not have to take booties and was able to fill the foot pockets with socks and underwear. They were easy to put on and take off. They gave me the power I needed and the control I was used to. I enjoy them, and would recommend them.
PAUL O I made the switch a few years ago and have never looked back. I only do warm water diving and the ease of use of the full foot fins is a real plus when traveling. No boots to carry means less weight and less bulk. I was sold when I was on a trip to Cocos Island and watch a professional videographer using full foot fins (albeit very long fins) and thought it they were good enough for him they would probably be good enough for me! Just make sure you get the right size.
RON C Full-foot fins are great for warm-water diving and pool work. That's what I bought these for (and I love them).
My wife is EXTREMELY hard to buy for and thought she couldn't justify the cost of these. I ordered 7 different sets of fins for her to compare & we went to the pool. After using them she was sold. The other 6 got returned.
JEFF K I switched to the full-foot fin, years ago. I got tired of wearing booties and having my feet being wet all of the time, aggravating the athlete's foot condition. I'm currently using the Mares Avanti Quattro Power fins, which are a bit longer than the Super-Channel fins. I purchased the Super-Channel fins for a divemaster friend, so that we could get the XL foot pocket. He originally wanted the Quattro fins, but Mares doesn't make them in an XL any longer, so... We sent the S-C's down, and haven't heard any complaints.
I suggest buying a couple of different sizes (your actual foot size and the next size larger), and returning the ones that don't fit. Mares fins sometimes fit a little "narrow", and you might need the next size larger to accommodate your foot. My Quattro's fit true to size, but I've had others that ran small...

K T Very hard question to answer. I wear size 8 men's shoe and when I dive I wear a 3-mm neoprene sock. The size 8-9 (42-43), I purchased, fit me well. The one thing to think about is that the rubber of the fin is fairly stiff so do not expect to buy a smaller size expecting it to stretch because it won't. Make sure to wear a dive sock (not a dive boot) when using the fin.

JULIANNE T Sorry, don't know the answer. My husband wears a 10-10.5 size shoe and the size he got fit him perfectly. I believe we just ordered off the manufacturers size chart. We have both used Mares fins for years, and love the fit and the performance.

FRANK W I have the same size (12.5 to 13). I was sceptic at first but the largest size fits me surprisingly well. I used for snorkeling with the kids this summer without having to deal with booties and i was extremely pleased. Hope it'll work out for you as well as it did for me.
