Previously had a Mares Xcruise bag and found it to be a bit small for all my gear and no rollers but this bag is just the right size and has handle and rollers that will make it much easier to use,the weight was a concern but with all my stuff i still have 8lbs to spare for the 50lb limit.I would recommend this bag to anyone that travels for diving

This is a great bag to transport Scuba gear in airplanes, mainly because its hard-case and its very resistant material. The soft material it has internally also helps a lot to protect the gear.

This is not a kind of bag I would use to transport gear in the boat though. I would prefer to add to carry a more flexible bag to transport gear in the boat.

Very disappointed with this bag after 1 trip - We purchased 2 of these bags for a trip to Little Cayman - #1 bag, on arrival to the resort I discovered a rivet on the top handle had broke through the hard material between the outside cover and the inside liner, it's just a matter of time before the handle would have detached from the bag - #2 bag, when we arrived home we discovered the disk on the side that serves as the bottom when the bag is placed on it's side was coming loose from the bag - These bags are poorly constructed - Our Deep See bags we purchased 5 years ago are better travel bags then these! Our Deep See bags have seen about 40 different airports in that 5 years, we used them for many trips other then dive destination. The Mares Cruise Cargo would never hold up to the careful baggage handlers.

This bag is smaller than I thought. It will NOT hold 2 sets of gear. 1 set of gear with a few extras is a really tight fit.
The bag is well made and I would reccomend it to others, just be prepared for everything not to fit.
