MARK M the difference is what line you use with the reel. The heavy wreck line takes up more room and can only fit 250 feet as opposed to the cave line that a bit thinner and fits 300 feet. Both types of line are very durable and most recreational divers don't know the difference. The reel is a versatile tool and this manta is top quality. hope this helps

The specifications say it only holds 100' of #30 . Why the discrepancy and which one is correct ?
