I was a bit surprised at the manufacturing quality. Machining marks were a surprise. The threads of the 1/4 20's may have been before final finishing...as it was I had to recut them to allow type 3 1/4 20 stainless to fit. A lower quality 1/4 20 would work but not higher standard. It was workable but I expected more from the Ikelite. I struggled with recommendation...probably would but I would caveat my recommendation.

I will use this photo tray diving. Love the dual handles with curvature for hands. A bit heavy when strobe and camera are added

This is another rugged product from Ikelite. A bit heavy, but I figure that this tray with the quick release handles will be with me for a very long time. The rubber grips are easy to hang on to even while wearing my 5mm gloves. Quick release handles make it a snap to attach strobes/focus lights. I have removed the lanyard from my housing and use the slots on the tray to attach my camera rig to my BCD with a coiled lanyard snap.
