I am borderline between sizes. Chest and Waist are size 6 and Hips and weight size 8. Usually I wear size 4-6 in regular clothes. Would you recommend I order a size 6?
LENI C Hi Katherine,
I wear a size 4 and I bought a size 4 wetsuit. It is plenty big. In fact, I could have gotten a size smaller. It depends on how tight you want your suit to fit. I bought the 5mm because I always get cold even diving in the Caribbean. I have been told that a Henderson 5mm is more like another brand's 3mm, however I do not know how accurate that is. The 5mm keeps me warm. Hope that helps.
Katherine L Thanks ladies for your help! I ordered the 6.
TRENA K Yes - order a 6. I am between 10 and 12, and the 10 is perfect.
JANE M I think a size 6 would work. I ordered one size up after looking at the size chart, and now it seems big, after wearing it a few times. Another thought is to order both, try them both on, and send one back.
MEI HWA F I found the wetsuit to run big. I typically wear a size 14 and purchased a size 14. I'm only 5'3, so the suit was a little big on me. I think a size 12 may have fit better. It is a very comfortable and stretchy wetsuit. It kept me very warm - love it!
JOANNE L I have the same suit. I usually wear and 8 or a 10. My 7mm suit is a 10 and its a little big but it makes it easier to put on and take off but my 5mm suit is an 8 and it fits just fine. You're better of ordering a 6 because it should fit a little tightly, esp at first. It may be a little harder to put on and take off but that"s usually only temporary.
