L W Will this pull my hair out of its roots when putting it on? Do I have to put baby powder in it when wearing it?
WALTER C I returned the Insta-dry hood. It was too dificult to put on. I purchased the Henderson titanium H2 hood instead, and i like it.

MELISSA S Yes, I returned mine and got one that was lined on the inside. I had gone up to NYC and was able to try on some different styles in the Leisurepro show room. If there's an LDS by you, I would recommend paying them a visit to try on some hoods as they all fit a little differently. Good luck and happy diving!
SHAWN S YES!!! maybe the one I had was too small but I did not care for it although it was very warm.
CHARLES I While the hood fits tightly, it is very stretchy - so I have not had a problem with pulling out hair.
And no powder is needed - it will slip/pull on - just may take an extra little bit of effort.
I like - it works really well.
GEORGE J This hood won't pull your hair. I've never heard of powdering a hood before. This hood is very restrictrictive, it is not "strechy," and I don't
wear it anymore as it is claustrophobic. Although I mostly dive cold
water I use the lightest hood I can, 3mm for shore dives and 5mm for
deeper dives.
SEAN M I You must be careful not to grab any of your hair with your hands while removing the hood. I have never tried baby power, This will probably be washed away when diving.

MICHAEL S I'm afraid I won't be of much help with this question, because I wear my hair high and tight. I've never had to use powder in any of my Hederson gear, though.
