Andrew G Which of all the different BPs models that LP sells, does not need an STA ?
eg. the Cambands can be threaded straight thru the BP itself; to achieve the result of the tank sitting much closer to the diver's spine & therefore a lower centre of gravity (esp for a big steel tank).
PAVEL V Me too. I'm using Hollis S25 wing, and use different tanks, from AL80 up to tanks with dia a liitle more than 119 steel tank.
KEN R The Hollis backplate does have cam slots and can be used with wings that have cam band slots without a sta. I have tried it with a Rec wing and Hollis wing without any issues using steel 119 tanks.
