What was I thinking when I bought these? If you have a backplate...you probably don't need large weight pouches. Since I dive doubles, I just need small trim pouches. These pouches are very rugged and durable. But they complicate your harness. They have additional clips/straps which can connect to D rings. This clutters things up. The pouches are so big, they take up most of my waist belt.

I am ditching these ditchable weights and going to simple/small pockets.

If you really need a lot of weight, these pouches are a good choice. The release handles are big and easy to find. The velcro would further prevent an accidental ditching of your weight.
