I purchased 2 of these for my husband and myself to use on a supported bike tour where every day about 400 of us dropped off our bags at a luggage truck, the bags were all thrown in and driven about 60 to 80 miles to our next stop, then unloaded onto the ground at the next group campground. It rained quite a bit and the luggage sat on the ground for hours waiting for us to finish our ride for that day. This went on day after day and nothing in these bags was even damp and despite rough use not a scratch on them or buckle broken. The bottom is reinforced with a sort of "skid pan" as well so even dragging the bags around didn't hurt them. I also liked the fact that they opened up wide so you could see straight in and access all of your gear at once. Definitely a great value for the money - these are just as good as the TNF dry bag duffels I checked out at [@] for a quarter of the price!
