Tony S Does this particular watch have luminox hands? In other words to they glow in the datrk without first having to shine a light on the dial.
BLAINE N No, it needs to be charged first. I love this watch, it's all I wear.
MATT B This watch does have the luminox hands. They are fairly bright on normal wearing at night throughout the night. Do not appear to help with visibility underwater though.
BRIAN D No. It uses zinc sulfide and/or strontium aluminate pigment paint. Not Tritium (Luminox)
Enjoy..
BRENT D No, you do need to shine the light on it first and it only lasts a minute or so.
STEVEN T No you have to shine a light on the hands for them to glow. If you wear it in the sun light it will glow for a long time.
ROBERT F The hands do glow in the dark. Sure, it helps to shine a light on them (makes them brighter) but in night diving, I haven't had a problem seeing them.
STUART E Yes, the watch is awesome and the hands do glow after they are exposed to light.
ROLANDO H It does not Tony.
