Shopper Hey guys just wondering if I get the gun and Australian customs will take it has any body had this problem or will it be alright I live in Australia nsw?
Frank L Shouldn't be an issue, but you should inquire with the Customs office in your area.
Shopper How long in cm or mm is the total length of 75 Im not sure if it is 75 or like 100mm because some companies measure in just the barrel size or total length of the hole gun thank im a rockie started a month ago ?
MAURICIO L 75 cm is the size of the speargun without the spear. With spear there will be more that for sure. 75 cm is also a great size for spearfishing at night

Steve S The 75cm is the barrel length. For spearguns, they are most accurate at distances about double the barrel length. Make sure to keep that in mind when you order.
MARIA V The length of the aluminum barrel (without the handle and the tip) is 75. The actual gun is about 105 cm.
b s The 75 cm is muzzle to butt (length of the barrel). The spear hangs about a foot (11-12") over the end of the muzzle. Depending on where u r hunting, low viz, shallow, reef holes etc requires less length. A 60cm would suffice. Better viz (over 10') deeper water etc a longer Gun is nice for more reach. This is a great beginner gun, but depending where u hunt u may want a shorter gun. I wouldn't go less than 60 cm for any viz, personally.
STEVE N without actually measuring it I believe that the 75cm refers to barrel length. A 75 is good in limited vis. [around 8ft.] with rocks and or coral heads. A 100cm is better for vis. in the range of 10-15ft and is not as maneuverable in and around rocks.

BARRY J Sorry, but probably not. Your arms would not be long enough. I would go with the 60cm band. It is a great gun though!!

Yes, you can attach a circular band and use both of them, but be careful in band selection, because very short (powerful) band too difficult to charge and it might cause breakage speargun's trigger mechanism and even injure yourself.

HAI W Leisurepro just added Cressi S45 Circular Elastic Rubber Band. Also need to buy a Cressi Jointed Wishbone to complete the 2nd band. I would choose the band length slightly longer than the gun spec. for example, you buy the 90cm gun, choose the 95-100cm band.
b s Yes, but you would have to make the band in the gun (there is no slot).. the band that comes with the gun is one of those euro style with a stainless wishbone that "screws" onto the band at both ends.
brooks y What mm bands are on this gun?
STEVE N I am guessing that the bands are 19mm by 9.5 " long. Whatever it is is appropriate to the overall length of the gun. in otherwords the gun it correctly powered. It is not a fancy gun but it is a good value. It is light and maneuverable in the water, and shoots straight.
Shopper anybody ever return em or have issues with barrel bending or warping?mainley on the 100cm?

Chris A I have this same gun and wondered the same thing. I sent an email to Cressi about a compatible circular band and this is what they sent me back; "The S45 has a 75 cm and the G20 has 85-90cm which might be easier to pull." Both of these bands can be found on Cressi's website: Cressisubusa . com
b s You have to make the second band in the muzzle with a stainless wishbone. There is no slot to add a second band. Save your money and get a mako!

JOHN P BTW.....great speargun. All my buddies have paid twice as much and mine is just as strong, fast, light and easier to cock. great buy
JOHN P It does take a little strength but more technique. Make sure the safety is on, put the butt of the gun in your chest, use your strong hand (overhand) start pulling the band back and as it gets within reach of your other hand grab and pull back with both hands and set the sling in the slot.
JEFFREY A I'm 5' 11" and 23 years old. I bought the 75 length. For me It is kind of difficult to reach the band. It was very difficult to pull back the first few times. It is still not easy. If you want to reload quick I would not recommend it. If the gun was shorter it would be way easier. I also work out a lot. 5 times or more a week for a few of years now. Just so you can compare strength.
DAVID B Yes it is a monster to pull back and the butt stock is to short for that strong of a band.
Shopper can you mount a reel?
Chris A ive seen reels that can be put on this gun but have not added one myself. from what I gather though, if you're shooting fish large enough to require a reel, this may not be the gun you want to buy. its only capable of holding two bands

JEFFREY A Trigger is plastic. Line release is metal. I enjoy the gun a lot. It is my first one.

Frank L ANd, yes, you may be able to add another band, but we don't carry this band. It is different than the primary.
