CARL S No. The sides are heat molded together but there isn't a decent (pole) mounting method unless you plan on making modifications

MIKE P If you mean some kinds of rod or stiff plastic support, no its does not. But it is very sturdy on its own. The white part of the flag is very thick and adds some rigidity. Because of this it does not fold up very easily. I thought I could roll it up with my safety sausage and place it in a pouch attached to my BC but it is to thick and sturdy to roll up very small. It came with just the flag and 2 small yellow zip ties. Also the flag is designed to go with carters floats because the flag is actually 2 flags bonded together on the left and right side if you are looking at in in the photo. This allows the safety sausage to fit through the middle and the zip ties to hold the flag in place.

NEAIL H It appears to be the same one I have. I don't use it when diving with the smb as their is no place to properly stow it as a tech diver. I use it when marking a dive site before the dive - for rec diving. I attach it with a small carabiner or snap link. Carter products are great and I highly recommend them. I never have problems diving with it or deploying it. Much better than others I have used - Halcyon, Dive Rite, etc.
