Questions about this item:
Jacob S Can this watch use the altimeter in the water, and can you use buttons underwater, because the Casio homepage says that only scuba watches can be used under water?
GORDON R Although this is a great watch, An altimeter measures air pressure so it would not work under water. and I would not advise using any button under water. This watch is water resistant, it is not a dive watch.
GARY H Sorry, i've nver used mine under water. However I love this watch. It is one of the best products that I have ever owned. I do use mine for kayaking, fishing and bikink. Love it!
Gary Hattan
JAMES A Yes and yes. This is a skuba watch and fully functional underwater. I have personally taken it to depths of 40 feet. Best watch I have ever owned.
SEAN S No, the altimeter cannot produce a reading while underwater; the pressure transducer is not set to read the pressure of seawater. However, you can use the buttons, and use functions such as start and stop the stopwatch while underwater and take a temperature reading of the water.
W. P. H Can you get this watch in stainless steel case, or titanium case with no plastic? I wlii eat thru a chrome plated brass or base metal case in about a year. My old stainless steel case and band digital that I had for 15 or 20 years, never deteriated. I must have a watch that will not be affected by acid skin. Please send me the modle numbers of all your digital watches that will not be affected by skin acid. W. P. Hutchison
CLINT T In response to W.P. Hutchison's question, Casio makes a version of the Pathfinder with a titanium band and case. I've owned one for over three years and have had no problems with it what so ever. It's very durable, accurate and if you like big, bulky watches, stylish. Mine has a couple pieces of what appear to be a very hard plastic embedded on the inside of the watchband. I will goes weeks without taking it off and I've not noticed any wear or deterioration. I work out wearing it and it is unaffected by sweat, water or vibration. I do not know if this material will be effected by acidic skin. Even if it is I imagine it would last for years and you could always replace the band.
Good luck in your search.
GARY H I've had this watch for a couple years now and have been extremely satisfied with it. I wear it sea kayaking (salt water), rafting, fly fishing, golfing and many other outdoor activities. It has never failed to provide perfect time.
The other functions seem to work well also but quite honestly I don't use them much. It looks great, is easy to read at night and keeps great time.
It is by far the finest timepiece I have ever owned.

KEVIN T Well the band and under casing is titanium. The upper portion of the watch is made of a very hard composite that doesn't scratch or dent easy. If someone told me I was going to be dropped off in the middle ofno where, this s one of the items I would love to gave strapped on!!!
DARRELL P I have worn this watch everyday since I bought it in Feb 2009. It is now Sept 2011 and there is no sign of any deterioration. This watch is awesome, built tough, great battery life (the solar recharge is great, I am inside in the winter and there are no issues until Feb at the earliest and then I leave it in the winter sun for a couple hours and it lasts me until I get outside in the spring). I don't know how acidic my skin is, but the plastic casing and titanium band have no signs of wear and tear and absolutely no deterioration.
LAWRENCE C My watch is 3 years old. The band and case is made of titanium. Buttons are plastic. Suggest you go to Casio web site and check out all of their new watches. The should be able to answer your questions.
JAMES S I looked into this and couldn't find any other option than plastic. Good luck in your search!
Shopper It says its Low Temperature Resistant (-10 C / 14 F) will it function properly in winter conditions with temps lower than - 10 C?
BRIAN T Just like any LCD screen, they won't perform that well when cold. The watch itself should operate fine but the screen may seem slow to react. I doubt your watch will ever get that cold if you have it on your wrist. I have had this style of watch for years and have never noticed any drawbacks from cold weather.
MICHAEL B I have had mine in temperatures ranging from 12-15F with no problems.
DARRELL P I have had this watch since Feb 09 and it is awesome. I live north of Boston on the coast and used the watch in temps as low as single digits F. The watch always worked flawlessly. I hope you enjoy the watch as much as I have.
TERRY S I've used this watch diving in 50?F ocean water with no problems at all. I've also used this watch outdoors with temperatures near 10?F and the watch worked and performed flawlessly.
YASUAKI K I live in Indiana. Although it is sometimes below 0 F in winter, this watch works properly. But you should know a watch always stays on your wrist. With same reason, its temperature measurement function does not work well through a year.
DAVID M I live in south Texas and have not worn the watch at temperatures below 32 degrees F. But it works well at 115 degrees F.
SCOTT W Can't tell you about the low temps, but I've used mine for the past years in Iraq, Palestine and Jordan in temps in excess of 120F, with no problems.
JEFFREY S I wear my watch every day. I am a boater and skier and put it through some extreme conditions and the watch is working beautifully. My guess is it has been in temps around zero degrees farenheit (you can do the conversion to celsius) while I have been skiing and I did not notice any degradation in its performance. I would recommend this watch to others.
Shopper Can this watch be used for scuba diving? Max depth?
DARRELL P Yes, you can certainly scuba dive with this watch. The casio website says "And if that wasn?t enough, it's 200M Water Resistant!" Not sure why the LeisurePro staff wrote that it is not for use past 150 ft.
LeisurePro S This watch is suitable to recreational limits of diving; not for use past 150 feet or so.
Shopper Is the case solid titanium?
LeisurePro S Parts of the case are plastic/polyeurethane, but the bracelet is titanium.
Shopper Will this watch still have all the functions mentioned in Thailand? Or do they just work in UK, US, Japan and the other countries you mentioned?
LeisurePro S The functions will all perform as usual, you just won't receive the atomic signals that keep the watch synched. The watch will still keep time, but it won't adjust itself. You may have to adjust the time every few months or so if it gets off.
Shopper What is the band length?
LeisurePro S This band is approx. 7.5 inches long.
Shopper What color do you have? Silver, black?
LeisurePro S This particular model is silver with black highlights.
Shopper what is difference between paw15007v and paw15001v
LeisurePro S The only differences is the color and the paw15007v has a titanium band and case while the paw150071v is polyurethane.
Shopper HI, Can you tell me if the watch Casio PAW1500T-7V which is in stock currently, is black in colour? If yes, I want to order it immediately. So please reply at the earliest
Shopper Hi, can you tell me, please if this watch Casio PAW1500T-7V has information about sunrise and sunset? If hasn't, what model of Casio has it?

Combining the best elements of Pathfinder & Sea Pathfinder, Casio introduces thebest Pathfinder to date. The Multi-Band 5 Atomic Solar Pathfinder steps beyond its core competencies of Digital Compass, Altimeter, Barometer and Thermometer by adding Tide and Moon Graphs and Moon Age Data. The tough solar powered titanium banded Pathfinder will tell you time so first, we will look at its regular timekeeper functions. Watch digitally displays time. It can be set in a 12/24 hour format, has five daily alarms, countdown (Yacht) timer with measuring units of one second, and a countdown range of one minute to 60 minutes along with a countdown alarm, progress beeper functions. 1/100 second stopwatch with measuring modes of elapsed time, split time, and 1st and 2nd place times. The stopwatch measuring capacity is 23:59'59.99". Auto calendar which is pre-programmed until the year 2099, button operated tone on/off, watch is accurate +/- 20 seconds per month with no signal calibration, uses a CTL1616 storage battery, and has a battery power indicator and power saver function withan approximate battery life of 5 months on a full charge without further exposure to light. This atomic timekeeper function receives time calibration radio signals automatically up to six times a day which keep the displayed time accurate, alsohas a manual receiver function; the signal received for the US is WWVB at a frequency of 60 kHz, UK is MSF at 60 kHz, Germany DCF77 at 77.5 kHz, and Japan JJ40/JJY60. Watch gives world time with 29 time zones (30 cities), displaying city code and a daylight saving on/off function. In addition the watch is water resistant to 660' (200 meters), is low temperature resistant to 14°F (-10°C), and has automatic electro-luminescent backlight illuminating the watch for low light conditions. The altimeter function measures altitudes from -2,300 to 32,800 ft (-700 to 10,000 meters) in measuring units of 20' (5 meters). Altimeter has an auto memory function with up to 20 logged sets of altitude memory including altitude, month, date and time. The altimeter has a max-altitude memory, relative altitudedisplay and altitude tendency and differential graph and graphic. If you are planning to go boating, fishing or Scuba diving you will appreciate the tide graph which is based on a combination of preset and user input data giving you vital information on the best time to launch the boat, drop your hook into the water, or jump into the water. With the moon data that allows you to know the moon's age based on current data and user input databy showing a moon phase graph, will tell you when the moon is right for night diving or fishing, or maybe even a romantic moon light cruise! The Pathfinder also has a built in barometer and thermometer. The barometer has a measuring range of 7.65 inches of mercury (Hg) to 32.45 Hg (260 hectopascals [hPa] to 1,100 hPa), has measuring units of 0.05 inches of mercury (1 hectopascals), with a tendency and differential graph and graphic display of atmospheric pressure. The thermometer has a measuring range of 14 to 140 degreesF (-10 to 60 C) in measuring units of 0.2 F (0.1 C). You can't get lost when you have your Pathfinder on your wrist with its built incompass. How many times have you been told by someone to go north on Elm then head west on Oak etc, without a compass many of us can get lost. The Pathfinderscompass has 16 points of measurement, with a measuring range of 0 to 359 degreesin units of one degree, a bearing memory with a memory capacity of one record storing direction angle and indicator. This Pathfinder Triple Sensor Watch will lead the way on your next adventure.
