Questions about this item:
Shopper I am 62 180 lbs my waist is 32 inches is the large a good size for me I looked at the chart and nothing fits exactly but better to have it snug than loose right?
CHRISTOPHER B I am a similar size and almost always use an XL and they are plenty snug. Large seems too small for me.
Shopper What is the difference between this one and onother one from henderson you have: "Neosport by Henderson Waterman 7mm Mens Wetsuit" ?
Both of them 7mm, two piece. Pictures look similar.
Monica s They are the same. One part number you can choose different sizes for the john and jacket, if you need for example an XL jacket and large top.
Shopper I am 240 , 5'10". Waist is 40" and chest is 46". What size is best?
Frank L I would try the XXL, but it may be long in the legs for you. You may have better luck with a single layer jumpsuit in a short version.
Joe N 6'2" 245lb, 48" chest, 38" waist, would 2XL or 3XL be the best bet?
JEFF C Might be a little short on the legs but think the 2x might be your best bet but on the other hand it is a pain to get into so the 3x might be easier and you can just cut the legs down hope this helps
GREGORY C being 7mm it wont strech much. I'd go 3x. the 2x might be a little warmer after you got it on but that may be a fight.
carl s I'm 5'10" and 230lbs what size do you recommend?
Michael C I would recommend either going with the 2xl, or if you want a little extra room in the suit, than the 3xl.
Andrew K What is the difference between this item and SKU NSPW?
They both appear identical. From the pictures the knee pads look a bit different. Obviously the prices are different.
JEFF C As far as I can tell the knee pads and logo are different but I can't be sure as I only have the farmer john not the nspw suit but I love my farmer John suit it fits good and isn't movement restrictive and is easy on and off so hope this helps
JAMES D Don't know the diference, but this thing is very stiff, and with the different layers it was very bouyant and I had to use alot of weights to get down. I didn't use it long before I spent the extra money and got something better. Wish I had done that originally would have saved money
ANDREW C Sorry I don't know. Perhaps someone from LP could waddle down to the warehouse and take a look for you.......
Alain R it is a 7mm total or 7 mm each so total of 14mm?
RON R Hi Alain, the Henderson wetsuit is 7 mm thick that means you will have a total of 7mm of neoprene between you and the cold water. I hope this helps.
Ron
CARLTON H Yes the core is 14mm but the legs and arms just have 7mm over them. I really like this wet suit it is good for really cold but also works fine in warmer temps. I have used it in Maine with 28F degree surface temp and in bermuda
Lance J Does the farmer john have velcro on both shoulder straps? Someone commented that only one side opened up.
ALFRED T This is the same with mine. You have a solid strap over one shoulder and the other is double velcroed. The farmer john style works great when you are not completely in water. Especially on hot days.
EDWARD J Their is just one, I have 2 of these suits one is 2 years old and I bought the other last year, I do not care for the new suit it lacks knee pads.
MANFRED J Only on side of the straps have Velcro, the other is permanently attached, kind of a pain to get on but comfortable once your in, these are well put together and warm, I did a 30 min dive in Lake Tahoe at 60' and was reasonably comfortable.
Shopper Would this help at all in waters 40 degrees?
ALEX J Yes. With moving around I sweat in 51 degree water.
JAMES F It is a very good wetsuit for colder water diving. I have dove in water in the mid 40's and was comfortable.
Shopper Im 5"11 220Lbs 38 waist and 44 chest would a L or XL be right for me?
LARRY F Extra large for sure.
MICHAEL M I am 6" 2.5 and 230 lbs and I purchased the 3XL...
Hope this helps
Daniel T 5'10 190 lbs and a chest at 44. what size should i get? i rented a large before and the fit was ok...just wan to know if brands make a big difference in sizing
GERALDINE P I would suggest that you buy a XXL. I bought a Xl for my husband and wished that I had gone one size larger. geraldine
ALLEN Y I would go with the XL.
Ivan S I'm 6'1" and weigh just 160 lbs, male. 32 waist. What size would be closest? Will it make sense to have a bigger size john for length?
RONI K The Neo Sport wetsuit is highly recommended - I purchased in 2006 and I'm still using it! I'm 5'8", weight 145 lbs, male 32 waist. My size is Small. I guess you'd better get Medium.
RONI K The Neo Sport wetsuit is highly recommended - I purchased in 2006 and I'm still using it! I'm 5'8", weight 145 lbs, male 32 waist. My size is Small. I guess you'd better get Medium.
MARY C save your money and purchase a suit with super stretch neo, this suit was too stiff and uncomfortable. Only used it once, hanging in the trailer.
Shopper Do you sell separate sizes for the john and jacket?
Shopper Is the Jacket 7mm and the farmer john 7mm for a total of 14mm in the areas where they overlap?
LeisurePro S Yes, this will give you a nice thick layer of 14mm in your torso area.
Shopper I'm 5'10" and weigh 180. What size would I need in this? Also, the John has long pants and the jacket is full sleeved, correct?
LeisurePro S I would recommend a large. Yes, the john and jacket are both full length.
Shopper Are there zippers on the ankles?
LeisurePro S There are no ankle zippers on this suit.
Shopper I am 5'11", 235, I want it for surf fishing. Which size do you recomend?
LeisurePro S This suit will be good in waters down to 50 degrees. I would recommend the XXXL.
Shopper I am 6' 2" and weight 225. I wear a 38" waist with a 34 inch inseam and a 48 long sport coat. What size do recommend? Thanks
LeisurePro S I would recommend the 2XL.
Shopper I am looking for a suit fopr my wife. i think a 2 or 3 xl in mens would work but she isnt 6 foot tall.. would i be able to trim the suits legs and arms and maybe glue them to keep it from fraying?
LeisurePro S Weight is more important to match than height, and if your wife is 5'9" or above, I don't think you'll have to worry too much about not matching that specification exactly. If she is shorter than that, you'll probably want to look at a suit that comes in short sizes. You technically can do what you're talking about with the trimming and the sealing, but it's just nicer to spend $$$ on a suit that will fit! Check out PINC77M, which is a 7mm men's suit by Pinnacle that comes in more sizes.
Shopper Hi I'm 6'3" and 195, with a 32" waist. what size pants and jacket would you recommend?
LeisurePro S In this suit, the closest size for you would be the XL. It will fit, but may be a bit short in the arms and legs. You may want to look a bit into a suit that comes in an XL Tall.
Shopper I am 6'1 ,240 lbs,36-38 waist,46 chest ...What suit should I get?
LeisurePro S I would recommend the 3XL
Shopper I am 6'3" 225. What size would you recommend? Long arms 37"
LeisurePro S The 3X should work out.
Shopper I'm 5'7" and weight 185lbs, I have a 36 inch waist, what size would I need?
LeisurePro S I recommend a Large. It may bag a tiny bit around the ankles, but it is more important to match your weight.
Shopper What temperatures would this suit be good for?
LeisurePro S 7mm suits are recommended for 50-65 degree water.
Shopper Does this wetsuit have wrist and ankle seals?
Shopper Who manufacturers this wetsuit?
LeisurePro S Henderson Aquatics
Shopper Is this only for the jacket or for the pants & jacket?
LeisurePro S This is for a set, John & Jacket
