Shopper What are the approximate dimensions of this when it's rolled up?
MIKE H Obviously, the width does not change rolled up or not. However, in the rolled up mode, it is about as big as your mask. I like the size as I have it daggling off of my BCD so I can reach down and retrieve it without looking. By the way, I bought the bright orange model which has good viz at all depths.
MARIA LUISA T Hi, when rolled up it is 7 in. long, 4.5 in wide, 2.5 in thick. It fits in my BC's pocket.
JOHN P I have an older model dive sausage that is smaller and not quite as effective as this one. This one is about 7 inches wide and rolls up to about 3 or 4 inches in diameter. I have a BC pouch that it fits into, but many BC's have pockets that may a bit small for it. I treat it as if it were just another component in my safety gear and it is less of a hassle than toting a spare pistol-grip light. With a small reel, it can be sent to the surface ahead of you so that approaching boats will be less likely to run you over and let your own dive boat locate you especially when the surface is choppy.
R T Approximately 3"x7", if it is the same as mine. Mine is orange but looks the same.
DANIEL M Slightly larger than a half liter bottle of water
ROBERT R Size is a little less than 3" diameter mostly because of the overpressure valve. It also has a small lead strip inside to keep it floating top up. The tube is 7" wide when flat, so size is 3x 7" I would buy one again. I replaced the plastic snap with a metal snap that will not break.
CAROL G The tube is about 6 1/2 inches wide and about 3" round rolled up. The hook on it allows you to hook it to by BC out of the way.
BRIAN H 3" in diameter X 7" wide.
RUSSELL L The bunle is about 5" in diameter when rolled up. It is not too bulky, and you will not really notice it while diving.
WAYNE K 5" in diameter & 8" long
