Ryan T I am looking into buying a Riffe Euro 110 which has a 60" shaft. Will this length shaft fit into this bag?
ALEX C Ryan,
If you read the description, it tells you that the bag expands to 75inches. Compressed, it's just over 60in, so it should still fit a 60in shaft un-expanded. Note that the expanded portion of the bag does not have padded walls like the rest of the bag, so if you use it expanded, whatever is in that area is less protected (a small towel easily fixes that). If you plan on buying any larger guns (I have a 150cm rail gun with a 170cm shaft), the shaft will just barely fit in and can be bent if the bag is thrown around. I recommend you place your shafts into a pvc pipe when storing in there, so they are protected from rust as well as from scratching up your gun stock.
I'm quite happy with this bag. It's a great price and is quite good compared to much more expensive ones by Rob Allen etc. Doesn't have an internal shaft pocket like Rob Allen, but has nice padded gun divider, internal securing straps, and external compression straps. Good bag and seems quite durable and well-constructed. No problems with it. Hope this helps.

nigel t Hey Ryan the Armor Speargun bag will hold your 60'' shaft out of gun since it is 62'' closed and the shaft in the gun it will expand to 75''. This bag will hold your speargun, long fins, wetsuit and inflatable float. Great bag to travel with, will hold most of your gear. Good luck.
ERNESTO M I believe it will. The bag has an expandable section, you can see the black tip in the picture. I do not have my bag with me since I left it at the beach house, but this bag is very large and good quality.
CHRISTIAN K Just take the shaft out of the gun when you put your gun in the bag.
Ryan T Bijan. Do you have to expand the bag to fit the euro 110x along with the shaft pulled out of the gun?
My concern is keeping the bag at 62 inches without expanding it. I want to keep it un-expanded because of United Airlines oversized baggage policy of 62 linear inches. If the bag is over 62 linear inches, then the bag costs $100 to check. Obviously I want to avoid that charge.
EDWARD T yes it does very nicely i hv a 63in. and it is perfect
JEREMY M Yes it will, I have a 130 and my shafts fit in it.
BIJAN R Yes. I am putting a Riffe 110-X which is longer (by 5 inches) than the 110 into it and still it can grow by another foot. In fact I usually put both the Riffe and the JBL in the bag. It is a great bag and works good.
BENJAMIN H Yes, I carry a Riffe Euro 120, Riffe Euro 100, and a 60" hybrid and all fit together with extra shafts. Great bag.
WILL W Can't say for sure. I have two 55 inch guns in my bag, a Wong and a Poseidonsub. Both fit without me having to remove the shaft. I would guess that for a 60 inch gun you might have to remove the shaft from the gun. I am pretty confident if you did that the gun would fit. It is an awesome bag, truly. Construction, pockets, lining. The bag is so well made I just ordered their dual regulator bag, which I unpacked this morning. It too exceeds my expectations. Surely there is a spec sheet on the gun you are lusting after and the interior of this bag? Stay safe
