George T How stable is the bag when rolling? Is the handle sturdy? Does it stand up on its own when loaded?
PHILLIP P I regret buying this bag (I bought two!). The compartments open only halfway, making packing efficiently extremely difficult, if not impossible. The material is very stiff. The size seemed like it could fit the Hotshot fins but they do not. I'm not sure what the compression straps in front are supposed to do. Also the bag is split into 2 compartments, again making it impossible to pack a full set of gear with room for a change of clothes. I would return it, it's too much of a hassle. Don't buy this. There are better, and equally expensive options.
By the way, in answer to your questions, yes, yes and yes. But this is because you can't pack much into it!
JASON B THIS BAG IS WELL BUILT. I WENT TO BONAIRE AND WAS ABLE TO FIT MY WETSUIT, BCD REGULATORS,COMPUTER HOOD,MASK,BOOTS, AND THE FINS I STRAPED TO THE OUTSIDE.
PETER A The bag is really rolling stable, no problems so far. The handle is sturdy enough and it does stand on its own without problems. Once I loaded it with some car spare parts for a total weight of around 20Kg and went as checked luggage on a flight with one connection and survived without damage. The straps may look excesive but do help keeping it together when fully loaded.
George T Thanks, Gustavo. The Armor website lists it at 6 lbs. Does that seem about right to you?
GUSTAVO G The Bag is very stable and yes, it stands on its own regardless of load. The handle is very sturdy, indeed. The whole bag is very strong and am sure mine will last for very long.
