Finally I needed to distribute my lead weights to make my end of dive more manageable. I had 34lbs on my intergrated weight pouches so my tank with BCD fully inflated just barely floated at the surface. Now I can wear a weight belt that doesn't slide off my waist to my knees. A bit harder to dump your weights in an emergency but with a little practicing you should be able to handle it. The belt material is 2inches wide and similar to your first rental weight belt, buckles are plastic- can change to metal buckles later when they wear out. This suspender belt should last me a long time. Since my BCD tends to push the weight belt downwards, I wished the lengths of belt material was another 12inches longer on both sides. But it still worked OK.

These suspenders hold my weight belt where it belongs: evidently where my waist used to be.
At 6'2" 220# with a 40" waist my weight belt was slipping down when using a full farmer john wetsuit. Thw suspenders hold the weight belt where it belongs until I learn better technique, lose more weight and regain a smaller waist. Meanwhile I need more weight on the weight belt and will be continuing to utilize the suspenders.

When I got them out of packaging, I noted there were no instructions whatever on setup or use. They were a bit confusing to figure out. However, once I did figure out how to use them, I found the weight suspenders to be EXACTLY what I needed. No more weight-belt sliding down to my knees.

Great Product. As a Public Safety Diver, I am in alot of different environments, and the one thing that was hardest for me was the amount of weight required to dive the Viking Dry Suits. The belt itself is too heavy, and it seemed I fought with it all the time. With these suspenders, no more problems. Love it!
