I loved this belt because it was inexpensive but a rubber belt. Being rubber, it gripped onto my waist (or lack there of) really well, even at depth. The main downfall is bail. I was spearfishing and my stringer got under the bail since it sticks out so far without me realizing it. I was subduing a fish when the current pulled me and my stringer dragged on a large rock. It flipped the bail and dropped my belt. I couldn't stay down due to my 7mm wetsuit. I dumped the air in my BC and exhaled. Fortunately, I put some of my weight in my BC and was able to safely ascend.

Be cautious when using this belt and make sure to keep everything away from the bail when in use.

Would be nice to have instructions how to put the buckle together would be good. I am not a diver

I like the rubber strap it's very comfortable, but the latch is no good.

The buckle is very finicky "easy to unlatch by mistake" Not Good with 25lb in it and wearing a 7mm wet suit!

Belt was way too thin.....Broke this season on opening night of lobster season and cost me 7 lobsters..........piece of junk....the gage works good....bag ok
