its a combo lock. it works. give you sense of security meaning that you actually know if someone has been in your stuff. I bought these mostly because they tattle by indication weather you should be curious or not.

The lock is Ok, but the only downside is that is not an accessory for Pelican Cases. The ear of the lock is too small. I found it very difficult to put on. It needs a little bit of getting used to and for this reason I think it is unlikely that TSA officers will have the same persistence.
