Shopper is this strong enough to keep a medium sized dive light retracted to your BCD? I have the Princeton Tec, NEW 337 Lumens Miniwave LED,which weighs 650 Grams according to your sites' Q&A forum. Thanks!
PAMELA B The Gear Keeper works great for keeping my Oceanic Pro computer retracted. Its length is just right for navigation and I've not had any problems with my computer getting loose. It retracts smoothly, and the size is not too bulky.

KRISTINE M I personally had a dive computer console clipped into it which is no where near the same weight. However, the clip was really sturdy and lasted me almost two years (I know that doesn't sound that long but it was 150+ dives and Im not so good at rinsing my gear afterwards :) )
The clip has a lock and unlock position so if you dont need your light you would be able to lock the retractor. So even if it was too heavy, it still wouldn't weight it down. I think it would probably be good for your light.
