Comments about Akona Talon Stainless Steel Blunt Tip Knife (AK900):

I bought this knife knowing that the handle was large enough for my big hands and the 5mm gloves I wear here in the Pacific Northwest. Sure enough the knife is fine but the sheath is poorly made.
I'm going to assume that the sheath is supposed to be made from high impact injection molded plastic. If so, it's too brittle because when I received the knife one of the plastic knife retaining locks was broken clean off and in the bottom of the sheath.
I need this knife for an upcoming AOW class; but I'll be sending the sheath back to LeisurePro to be swapped out.
