I wanted to start with my own gear so I could get used to it, without the need to get familiar with rental gear every time. I'm very happy with it, the price was great, this particular bc was discontinued but I contacted the manifaturer and was told was a marketing decision not beacuse of problems with the item. I'm 5'4", 120 lbs I bought a small and I wear it in the smallest configuration. One thing I did not like is that the bc was listed at 30lbs lift for the small size, however the actual lift (from manifacturer label is only 27 lbs). I was concerned at first but it seems to be enough for my needs, 7mm, AL72, 24 lbs of weiths.

This is my first non-rental BCD and I am very happy with this product. The integrated weight system improved the comfort of my diving experience. The price that I got this jacket for was unbelievable. I had been looking for a BCD in the local dive shops and this BCD was 1/3 the price but had many of the same features. I'm 5'3" 110 and the small fits well.

This BCD is a very good design proportioned for women.

Until this purchase I had been using a rental BCD, which was usually a men's size XS. This was very uncomfortable and not proportioned for a woman's frame, but rather a short stocky man. I often found that the cummerbund and underarms rode up because they could not be cinched down tighter, the shoulder straps were too wide, and the chest strap was too high and caught against my neck. With the new Aeris EX 300 for women, these problems are solved.

For size reference, I am 5'5" (165cm) and 137 Lbs (62kg) and bought the women's size small (6-8) and it fits great. I have done 2 dives with it and found that the BCD stays secured in place during the whole dive and surface swim back to the boat. The back has good padding and the shoulders are contoured to be narrower. The chest has ample room for accommodating an A through D cup bust size. It is not simply a men's design made smaller and marketed with some pink designs. They actually designed this BCD to be comfortable for women. The adjustable Velcro on the cummerbund is well designed and did not ride up against the chest in the water. The integrated weight system is also very convenient. Just make sure to familiarize yourself and your buddy on how to release them.

Bought it to use for teaching. Did not want a BCD with back inflation. This BCD is an incredible value for the $$.

I purchased this for my wife who enjoys it very much. She had been using a non weight integrated BC and much prefers this. It has just enough features for everyday use. She also likes the fit.
