Frank L This needs to be connected to a first stage, or to a diving compressor with a long hose. A standard air compressor for tools would not work. You should take a class from a certified instructor and learn more about scuba diving, and not try to teach yourself.

MIHAIL R Hi Mike, Let me start by saying I am not a pro when is about servicing regs, but as a diver with about 65 logged dives I would say you can definitely use the octo as long as you primary reg has the available low pressure port (which I am pretty sure it has). In terms of quality for the octo, I used it so far on about 30 dives and it does the job. Keep in mind, this is your back-up/ emergency 2nd stage so you want to make sure it works and is dependable, breathing comfort for long periods of time was not a concern for me. In short, I would recommend buying the A1 octo at this price? I got it for about $75 and I would buy it again if I would need a simple and reliable octo at a great price. Cheers and dive safe!

BRETT B I don't see why you would have any trouble using this Octo. You should just be able to hook it into a LP port.
