Shopper Hi, I bought this computer (first dive computer so still trying to work it). It doesn't seem to ever turn off and does a few odd beeps here and there. Any suggestions? Thanks!!
Dyan L I have this computer and I think it takes a good 24 hrs out of water before turning off. However, I had another question and I emailed Tusa directly and got my answer. You can find their contact info on your website. Good luck.
RAFAT M it will shut down if ideal
CHRISTOPHER V It takes about an hour if you just leave it alone. After you push a button it starts it's timer over. We have a two hour boat ride home and they are usualy off by the time we get back. I havn't had any problems with ours. We got three of them and use them at least once a month. They are a little user unfriendly, but we have got the hang of them. I can't find our manuals any more, but it explains about the beeps and the auto shut off. Hope this helps.

The computer will turn off after 24 hours of your last dive.
About the beeps, they can be for several things, first an alarm can be triggered if your ascent rate is over 18m/m, another one can be if your near to your NDB limit, another can be triggered if your close to your planned dive time, or if you have the DeepStop function turned on and you exceed your max depth value.
What I suggest you is to read the manual and if you have any doubt you can write me as a reply to this and I'll be more than happy to assist you.

CHAD G It should turn off by it's self when you don't touch it fir a while. It takes some time. It also turns on by its self when you get it wet. As far as the beeps Idk what to tell you.
Shopper where can i get a wrist boot for this puck? does any wrist boot work?
CHARLES G Mine came with a wrist boot/strap that is long enough to go around any thickness wetsuit and probably most drysuits.
Any wrist boot will not work, you would most likely need to get something from TUSA.
I also purchased a Dive Rite NiTek Duo (aslo come under different brands/names that came with a boot that attaches using bungy cord (a more Tech Diver like solution) but the boot is too big for the TUSA and I'm not sure this particluar computer is still available. It has very similar functionality to the TUSA if you can find one.

DONEL G It comes with a wrist boot when you buy it...however, if you are looking for an aftermarket boot, I'm not sure one exists. I looked extensively for a tech wrist boot about a year ago without any luck. Although, if you are simply looking for a backup wrist boot, try contacting Tusa directly. The computer itself is pretty reliable. I have over 200 dives on it during a 6 month period. Never gave me problems, but it is bulky.

BRADY W The unit I purchased was a wrist computer and it does not interface with the first stage at all. It is pretty much self-contained and there is a port that you can download all of the dive info to a lap-top - Great dive computer with many functions for the price - BW
PAULA L No this computer does not require a wireless transmitter. Doesn't monitor air consumption. You still have to have an air pressure gauge.
DAVID E There is no wireless transmitter. It can be manually started before you dive or you can set it to activate under water. It is a very good purchase and i have had it to 125 ft and it works great and no problems seeing the functions.

DENNIS C No this computer does not use a wireless transmitter.. It is not a air pressure reporting computer.. It is a good reliable computer that I have used for a season and really like it.. I like the nitrox ability and the multiple gas options. I bought 4, one for me, my wife, brother and his wife.
