MICHAEL P Yes, you have to take the strap off, then the rubber case, then the battery cover. Be careful with the strap pins they can bend.

Frank L We sell the transmitter for $450. The battery is user replaceable.

CHRIS D I bought my transmitter on Amazon. Current price listed price is $450. As for the battery being replaceable, I honestly don't know. I suspect it probably is, but it's really the kind of thing I'd rather pay to have done professionally (peace of mind thing, you know?) Good luck!

JAMES B El HP (alta presi?n) es la manguera de la manguera se utiliza desde el tanque de su medidor

LUKE S "HP Hose" is one of the 4 hoses that come from the first stage (at the top of the tank). These 4 are: 1) a high pressure hose (HP Hose) that goes to a pressure gauge that senses the 3000 psi high pressure in the tank 2) a low pressure hose to inflate a BCD 3) a low pressure hose for the main regulator to breath, and 4) a low pressure hose for the alternate air to breath. Large, easy to read face. It will not lock you out on deco dives and will do one gas switch.
I don't like wrist straps, so I put mine in a bungee mount.

[...] the protective screen has a few scratches on it as if it was fresh-from-the-factory new. I debated on whether to call and complain or go to the showroom (i live in nyc), but decided it wasn't worth it since it was just the plastic cover, I'm going to get scratches on it anyway, and they are cheap to replace.The manual was in german, but leisurepro warns against this so I couldn't complain there. Luckily I was able to download the PDF from the manufacturer's website.Overall, the product description is exactly as advertised, "wrist unit only"! I'm trying to find accessories for it now, like just the wireless transmitter, but I have been unable to locate just that.I am sending in the warranty card too because I doubt any authorized suunto retailer will service it, but since leisurepro matches the warranty I'm not worried.
