This is really a "no joke" dry snorkel. I took it to Salt Springs in Florida to test it out. After going to the bottom numerous times and not having any water in the snorkel I finally had to take snorkel out of my mouth to "taste" if the the water was salty. This product lives up to its description!

I use this for extensive snorkeling which often is near breakers along reefs, so the ultra dry snorkel really helps prevent wave splashes and surges from flooding the snorkel.

I find it somewhat uncomfortable, both from the shape of the mouthpiece and the angle of the snorkel, which presses against my mouth. I often snorkel for 2+ hours at a time, so this gets unpleasant after time.

I owned this snorkel previously and it broke after 20+ hours of use, so I hope this one will work for much longer than that.

I used in a choppy ocean while doing a long surface swim to a buoy in Bonaire. No water got into the snorkel. It was great!
