Firstly I bought this because it was on special and the price was right.

Secondly, snug fit and poor fit are 2 different things ... let me explain.

The mask fits my face well, no leakage etc and has good visibility. The poor fit for me is the nose pocket. I have a wide nose and I can't equalize properly and consistently in this mask. The pocket is more suitable for a narrow longer nose.

I have the kind of face that masks don't seem to fit onto. I have tried many different masks and they all leaked until this mask. Fits perfectly with a great seal and no more clearing my mask every 30 seconds. If you have trouble finding a mask that fits try this one. Have used it in warm waters as well as New England waters - works just fine.

I purchased the Oceanic Mako 2 mask and the Oceanic Ultradry snorkel and used them on a recent trip the the British Virgin Islands. I wanted a good quality product, but didn't want to spend a lot because I only snorkel once or twice a year. I'm very happy with the quality of this mask, and the price was very reasonable. I had minor issues with the lenses fogging, but it was easily remedied with anti-fog drops (or the old-fashioned saliva method!). I highly recommend this mask for recreational snorkeling / occasional use.

Nice mask with low-profile. Visibility is excellent and the neoprene strap makes this very comfortable and easy to put on/take off.
