RON R Yes, as long as it has the metal buttons. Got mine in March and it has worked flawlessly. I have 30 dives on it both air and nitrox. I have used the buttons every dive underwater with no problems

BRIAN B I haven't had any problems with this computer at all - the buttons work fine. I just dove with it for 9 days in Bonaire and it worked great.

BRUCE S I have not had any issue with the buttons falling off, so I believe that this issue has been addressed. I bought it about 6 months ago and I went on a dive trip in which I did 10 dives with it.

PHILIP N Now this is livin' the HIgh Life here. I saw this at a dive shop in the Florida Keys and fell in love with it in no time.I didn't buy it there because I buy all my stuff from LeisurePro for a whole lot less money. I already own another computer that is brand new but I never liked that one as all the information was crammed into a small, confusing area. The big thing about this computer is, the BIG numbers. It is very easy to see the numbers because they are about 3/4 inch tall set against a light background. The screen is large enough to separate the values enough so you instantly know what the number is you are looking at yet hardly any larger than a standard console. Of course the air integration is cool also and the computer calculates your remaining dive time based upon your air use and your remaining pressure. The entire screen has an Indiglo back light to help you at night. I have not yet had this in the water but it has an appointment with the dive shop pool soon.

The Pro Plus 2.1 is a state-of-the-art personal dive computer in classic console form, complete with a Sidescan compass for navigation. It comes ready to use with air or nitrox mixtures up to 50 percent. Since it's air integrated, it keeps track of your breathing gas supply and calculates how many minutes that gas will last, based on your current depth and breathing rate. The two buttons at the base of its display access all of the features/functions of the Pro Plus 2.1.

The Pro Plus 2.1 offers large, easy to read alphanumeric displays and color coded graphs where green means "go," yellow means "caution" and red means "stop." There is a variety of user settable audible and visual alarms. The computer can be turned on before your dive, but if you forget to do this, it turns itself on underwater. The batteries have a 300 hour lifetime and are user replaceable at any ti me without the loss of data. The computer displays temperature and time of day.
Although suitable for sport divers of any level, the Pro Plus 2.1 has m any special features experienced divers will appreciate. It can be used as a computer or depth gauge to 330 feet. It offers both time to fly and desaturation countdowns. It automatically adjusts for altitude and for salt or fresh water.

The Pro Plus 2.1 has alarms for:

Loaded with features and a huge screen makes it easy to read. There are some tricks to tweak the computer to work for your needs. Multiple alarms and dive planning are great.

perfect for all uses aside for TriMix,however I heard from a birdie that they may be doing some software upgrades for this comp. Overall, its extremely easy to use, easy to read, had a crisp display and has never let me down. This has basically become the industry standard for which all good computers are based. I chose this over the Luna simply for the simplicity/great reputation. I am not sure why, but I dont believe this comp has the PZ+ and CF algorithms, instead uses a standard DSAT algorithm and you set all parameters of conservatism based on individual preferences. I have dove (accidentally) a deco dive on this computer and it was intuitive enough to calculate my ceiling stop at the maximum amount pf time allowable by my remaining air time/ascent time/estimated safety stop time/ all based on my average breathing/air consumption rate. Brilliant computer and it is backed by Oceanic's tremendous customer service. I gladly paid full retail for this computer and have never thought twice about it.
