Shopper I am 6' 3" and all my websuits are little short on sleeve. I am diving off of Northern California and waters are very cold. I need a glove that can cover my short sleeve shirt. How long is the glove sleeve? My websuit is about 4" short from my wrist joint. Will this glove long enough to cover my wrist? Do you have any other glove that might be longer than this one?
MATT T While this is a great glove for cold water, if you are using a shorter suit or have longer arms, this might not work. I quarry dive a 7 mil and use these exclusively, but they only overlap about 3 inches up the sleeve of the wetsuit. You may be able to stretch 4 inches so long as you don't ever have the need to overlap. Hope this helps!
GARY D I just put on my size XL gloves, and it's almost exactly 4" from the where my thumb meets my wrist to the end of the glove. The great thing about Leisure Pro is, you can go ahead and order them, and if they don't reach your wetsuit sleeve, you can send them back for a complete refund! Good luck.
BTW, they kept my hands completely warm while diving the California's Northern Channel Islands and Monterey. They also did not hamper my ability to use any of my equipment while underwater. I highly recommend these gloves.
Katie S Hi, I've had these gloves for a couple of months - only used them for one dive but they kept me nice and warm. :) If I recall correctly, they're not super long, probably not long enough to cover a 4" gap from your wrist to your sleeve. I think it only goes a couple inches past my wrist. Good luck finding a glove that works!
MEGHAN H These gloves come about 3.5" up my arm from the start of the wrist. They stay in place very well so some careful measurement on your part will tell you if this the right glove for you
