Shopper Good Day can it be connected to a Cressi Start bcd in order to carry two bottels?
Andy A This won't fit a jacket style BCD obviously. It's a cost-effective and flexible solution for those who already dive back-mounted doubles using a backplate /wing style rig. I'm wondering how well it'd work (if at all) with soft/travel type backplates i.e. Oxycheq Travel Lite, as this could be a nice solution.
Biggest advantages are that it enables experienced backplate/wing diver to transfer familiarity gained with their existing rig.
KEVIN K I am not familiar with Cressi Start bc. You will need to calculate your buoyancy needs by lift capability - considering if you use a wet, dry or semi-dry suit. Then you need to calculate your buoyancy needs if you intend to use steel or aluminum bottles. After that you will need the ability to balance yourself from left to right and from front to back. The balance from left to right side is the most critical and the best way to accomplish that is to have a "C" shape wing or a "Donut" shape wing. Check out the APEX WTX3 (donut shape) or APEX WTX4 (C shape) wings as examples. After that look up an instructor from the local dive club in your area or you can email me at kevin "at" premierdiving "dot" com for further assistance. All the best!

JONATHON K Doubtful. This side mount system is designed to be attached to a back plate, in particular the OMS back plate.
Brett H No, this is designed to go on a backplate / wing type setup and will not fit on the start bc.
