Jon L OMS told me it was 15 pounds each.......anyone confirm one way or another?
MARIO C Although OMS says 15 each, I have never had then need to try to use that much. I can say that my buddy has stuffed 3 five pound block weights in his. The soft weighs are a little larger and he barely managed 2 fives.
MICHAEL G The set can hold 15 pounds. I see your question a little better reading the Description of the product. They are talking about the full "system" capacity, not the individual pockets.
RODGER T I can put 10 in mine. That is a single hard weight and it fits tight
NATHAN M Is your question referring to the capacity of each weight pocket? If so, yes... 15 lbs is correct. I haven't tried putting more.
CARL J I am using 10 LBS in each and I am pretty sure I could fit another 3-5 LBS if I had to. I am using Soft Weights witch conform nicely to the packs shape but tend to give you a little less weight density for the same volume so you might be able to use hard weights and get a little more total weight per side but they definitely wouldn't conform to the shape as well.
Great product! Goes nicely with any OMS Tech Rig.
Enjoy and Safe Diving!
MICHAEL G Yes, the are large enough for each to handle a 5# and a 3# stacked towards the clip (hard weights). Maybe more if soft, but I didn't like this much weight up front on my waist strap, so when I can't get steel tanks, I add weight pouches to my cam bands. I often wear five pounds in each of these and then 4-6 pounds straped to my (single) tank
RANDY P I put two 5lb soft weights in each side. The pockets are stuffed with the two weights.
KENNETH W I'm sorry i cant answer that question...I have reverted to a backplate and wing
