I'm asian had leaking problems with Cressi Big Eye, Oceanic Shadow, and Atomic Frameless. The Essence hasn't leaked or fogged. Maybe a coincidence, but the last mask that didn't leak was an old framed Mares that I don't have anymore.

This mask was a bit of a trip for me. First off, the silicone is so soft, or the fact that it's framless made me want to tighten up the straps to the max. However, as I loosened it to the point where I didn't really feel it, it didn't leak... well the nose fills a bit, but it's easy to clear (I do have a big nose). Does not fog if you prep it and use defogging stuff as with all masks. Have used this in warm and cold water and no real complaints. Did leak on a couple of dives with a hood, but had gloves on and couldn't make sure my hood was overtop of the seal. Wish I would have got the black silicon, but overall it's a fine mask.

Bought this mask for my wife and no matter what we do it fogs. We used it once and tried to return it and there was no take backs. She has continued to use it since without any better results
