Comments about Mares Hybrid Pure BCD with MRS Plus Weight Pockets:

I chose this BC for it's light weight, being foldable and the very attractive price. Before actually trying this in water, I afraid the Back inflation system would keep my face down when I ascend to the surface; yet this is not a problem at all as I can easily pose myself in the face-up position. (Though, I tried relaxing my whole body when surfaced on the water, it DOES keep my face down the water. However , as stated in the manuel, it is not a life jacket!)
Another concern was it has got only 150N uplifting force, compared with other jacket-type BC got around 200N, it seems a bit less. However it is totally sufficient for me to float !
BTW, this BC is not using Qucik-release buckle as usual BCs, the main strip around your waist is using a plastic "weight-belt-like" clamp for adjustment and fixation!!
