The replacement LP hose is slightly too long to fit flush with the corrugated hose, although this may depend on the orientation of ports on your first stage. Not really a big deal though.
The instruction manual just has some pictures of how to install, with no text, but I found it pretty easy to connect to my Mares F-Light BCD.
I really like not having to have a separate octopus.

This is a great product BUT if you live somewhere other than the USA I would NOT recomend buying it. It worked perfectly for the first 8 months I had it and then the inflate button began to stick. After a while the button would not pop back up at all so was constantly inflating my BC. I have tried to have it serviced but the part that is required to fix it is unobtainable in New Zealand. The local dive shop I sent the octi in for repairs to have been in contact with Mares New Zealand and Mares Australia but they have not been any help tracking down the part as they are not sold locally. Will have to attemp to by part from the USA or simply trade in my much loved octi for something else

Instructions are lacking in detail. one word of caution DO NOT put a snorkel or octopus keeper on the mouth piece or it won't be able to deflate the vest. if not for poor instructions would make it a five star

I got this as my first octo, it works great. Never had to use it for emergency, but breaths nice. Only issues I have is the button tends to stick after cleaned and dried, and its a little bulky. Other than that great buy.
