MARTIN F Yes, the light has a screw style cover on the butt end of the battery body. Using the provider tool or a dime you will unscrew the cover which has several o-rings to prevent water from entering the battery module. The charge is a typical wall "wart" adapter that plugs into the connection under the access port that you just opened. The adapter has a green or red indicator light to show if in need of a charge or fully charged...The charger, tool, light, accessory handle is packaged nicely in a zippered soft sided travel case.

LLOYD B No, you can't remove it. More like you shouldn't, there are some screws holding it to the torch housing, just the switch housing is also part of the handle. Makes it easy to find in the dark.
If you don't like the handle, just flip it over and hold it handle side down like one guy I saw doing. I've just held onto the back of the torch when looking at something as well.
The handle is nice, this torch is like grabbing a pop can with out the handle, and the holes are nice to dumby chord it to my BCD. I have also used the handle like a improvised belt clip and hooked it over my BC strap while walking down to the water or boat. Plus it all fits nicely in its nylong bag with cut to fit foam inside.

No the handle must be attached. It holds the on/off button and needs to hold it in place.
Alvin W Basically no. The on/off switch is located between two screw like attachments where the handle attaches to the body of the light.
MARTIN F Yes, the handle is removable by allen wrench and an attachment is enclosed that allows you put it in place of the handle and it allows it to attach permanently to another item. I have purchased this about 16 months ago. The original unit had a faulty switch and would turn off after about 45 minutes of use. I contacted the company and they were more than happy to replace the unit. The replacement works just as it should. The light is extremely bright. I have used it in Bonaire and was a big hit during night dives. When not diving, I use it to walk my dog at night and boy, it lights up the street... Because it is LED, it does not heat up. I get two or three hours of run-time on the unit between charging. Very pleased with the unit...

JORGE C hi, im not sure if u can buy batteries cause its rechargeable, but the torch its excellent, have an excellent light and power
