Shopper I am a 8 1/2 and I have a new pair of the cressi gara 3000 in size 8-9, I want to purchase a pair slippers to wear with those fins my question is will these slippers be a good fit to wear with those style of fins or should I be looking for something else?,I have wide feet. thanks
JACOB D sorry for late reply. i'm not familiar with the cressi gara 3000, but my feet are 10 1/2. the slippers i got were size 11 and were used with Tusa Imprex Open Heel Fins (XL).
they worked great for me.
ELAINE B I bought this pair to use with my Apollo split fins. Was looking for somethig that had protection from fins rubbing on the top of my foot. The added rubber does not extend far enough from side to side and ended up with sores on both feet. They are comfortable but will stick with my heavier boots next trip.
Mari P After looking at the fins you're referring to, I would say these slippers probably won't work on full fit fins. These slippers are more like an aqua shoe with a full (somewhat hard) rubber sole. We got them for the same reason as you intended except our fins were open and they still didn't work for us. We should have purchased dive socks which would have made for comfortable fin use. My husband suggests that you buy the slipper first (to fit your feet) and then the fins sized to fit the slipper. He would have had to go a size down in the slipper for it to fit the fins, but then the slipper would be too small for his foot. We still used the slippers for walking in the ocean, river banks, etc. Hope this helps and that you have an awesome time, whatever you decide.
ARLEN B Not sure about the compatibility with those fins, but I have wide feet and these boots fit great. I wear them with Mares' Superchannel fins
