This bag is a couple of pounds lighter (unloaded) than my TUSA roller dive bag, which is why I bought it. Every pound counts with airline baggage limits these days! Still, the Cressi Moby 5 is easily big enough to overload and exceed the 50-lb. limit for bags of passengers flying coach. This problem is compounded by the lack of interior compression straps (you tend to cram more stuff in to keep things from shifting all around). After only one dive trip so far, I can't really attest to this bag's durability, but I can safely predict that the flimsy cloth zipper pulls won't last long. The zippers themselves seem a bit questionable, too, but we'll see. Previous buyers advised me correctly that the side fin pouches are long enough for my TUSA Tri-Ex fins with spring straps attached. I could probably even fit one pair per fin bag. But I could actually do without the fin bags altogether and just put the fins inside to help stabilize and protect my gear while filling the space and keep contents from shifting without compression straps. The fin bags add unnecessary weight and make the bag so wide it's, ahem, "un-wheel-dy." As much as I like the outside accessory and reg bag compartments, there's no way to securely lock the zippers. So if you're concerned about theft, I'd hand carry anything real valuable. The bag is well-cushioned, and the liner is removable for easy cleaning. A couple or three interior zippered mesh pockets would have been nice for little odds and ends, but I just roll those inside my wetsuit to keep them from shifting around. Bottom line, the Moby 5 holds all my scuba gear (wetsuit, travel BC, fins, masks, snorkel, reg, boots), safety gear (SMB, DAN pocket mask, cutting tool, dive light) plus enough clothes for a week without doing laundry. I haven't used the hidden backpack straps yet, but they're there if I need them. I think the Moby 5 is a good value, but I may have to make some minor modifications to add interior straps and lockable zippers.

This bag was used twice and the entire side of the front pocket ripped out. Very poorly constructed. I contacted LP and yes it was covered by warranty. I was to send it back, they would send it to the company and it would be fixed. What they don't tell you is you have to pay to ship it back. UPS delivery on the bag was $77.00, 1/2 of what the bag costs originally. Still haven't gotten the bag back so I don't know if they attempted to fix it or sent a new one but this bag is certainly not worth the hassle or the money.

Comments about Cressi Moby 5 Bag with Wheels:

I have not used the bag yet. The quality of the bag seems better than my Mares bag. The only questonable item is the wheels. They seem to be the same cheap wheels found on cheap luggage.

Comments about Cressi Moby 5 Bag with Wheels:

Fits two sets of scuba gear comfortably. Bag is lightweight leaving more leeway for gear weight and avoiding airline fees. External fin pockets provide more space for internal storage.

Comments about Cressi Moby 5 Bag with Wheels:

Lots of space in this bag. I can fit all my gear minus tanks. There is not a whole lots of pocket so be aware but if you are like me and have all your important gear in individual protective case anyway then its not a problem.Probably not the best bag if you travel by plane althought I did it without incident but definetly worth it if you usually drive to your dive site.
