Shopper is this waterproof or water resistant? It states water proof, but reviews say water resistant? This is a clear difference
SONJA S This watch is AWESOME !!!! It has been on many dives with me (down to 40 meters), and has been my primary watch since purchased in 2007. I finally have to look into replacing the band and possibly the face (scratched), all expected wear & tear after over 5 years! Never have had a problem with "charging," and the battery is still perfect! If I ever have to replace it I will buy the exact same watch!!!! -S (Seattle)
LARRY T I took this watch diving with me this past November for the first time...Was down 90 to 100 feet on one dive/ 60 feet on others....It is certainly waterproof....working like a charm!! Love this watch...although it is not computerized you can still set it for your safety stops using the dial on around the face.
PATRICK H It is water proof down to 300 meters. I bought this watch for my wife to use while scuba diving, and although we never dove that deep ;-) it was definitely water proof down to about 30 meters. Overall, I think it is an excellent watch, and will someday buy the mens' version for myself. We were living and cruising on a sailboat when I bought it and I was also using it for celestial navigation because it was the most accurate timepiece we had onboard (I checked all our clocks and watches against the official time signal sent out from Colorado Springs).

KELLY G Its a 300 meter dive watch. Period! Reviews are subjective. If this watch is subject to abuse, neglect, or other physical parameters that compromise the seal integrity, it will not be water proof.
TOD V This is an excellent watch. I got it for my wife when she started to dive. She has taken it to a depth of 100 ft many times with no problems at all. It is a divers watch.
ALAN G We've been diving with this watch many times, over several years, with no problems. The watch is a nice size, with the clean style I prefer. The Eco-Drive feature is great.
CHRIS R Guess its a matter of interpretation, nothing is actualy water "proof". Clearly the watch is sealed from water entering the watch. It is worn as a dive watch and it has given very good service.
NIGEL L I bought this watch for my wife, an occasional diver. I chose the Eco-Drive so you never have to worry about winding it. I can say that after some 40 dives, a number to 30m (100ft), the watch is in fact waterproof. Make sure the crown is screwed in tight.

JOSEPH H I bought my wife this dive watch in 2008, and she has worn it on every dive trip since. It is definitely waterproof as it has never stopped working or flooded. At depths over 100' and in cold water too has been a good working dive watch and back up timing device. Besides being a little large for her small wrists, she loves the watch. If a woman likes the dainty small face watch style, this isn't the best option, but if she likes a larger face watch, is perfect. Is easy to read underwater and fastens better than some we have seen with velcro. This has a sturdy strap, that fastens with a belt band.
RAY S Since it's a dive watch, it is waterproof. I'm no watch expert, but but It's been at least 100 feet down with no problem, and I could still see it!
CHERYL P i have dived with it many times to 100 ft and had no problem with the watch. when on vacation i never take it off. i like the watch. to me water resistant means can not be in water for extended periods of time. i dive with it all the time. hope this helps.

I've used this watch since 2007.... it is a real Dive watch, waterproof to 300m. Sports watches will say "water resistant", dive watches are actually tested to their rated depth I believe.

MIYOKO O This watch is waterproof to 300 meters, but if you plan on diving more than 300 meters (984 ft.), I would recommend a higher end watch. I'm still happy with my purchase since I have had no problems with this watch.
