    Great Bag!

    I was looking 4 a regulator bag just before a diving vacation. Looked at many, didn't like their construction, sizes or shapes. I purchased the Blue Reef because it had good comments and it was inexpensive. Figured if it was not very good, at least I would not have spent much money. But in fact, it is a GREAT bag. Seemed to be very durable..especially the padded handles. Not only did it hold my regulator, octopus, and gauges but it also had room 4 more such as a mask or a dry box.

    At the dive destination, I left my BCD and regulator at the dive shop. So I used the regulator bag to carry my camera and flash, dive mask, dive log (in the side pocket) and a bottle of water. This bag definitely has more use than just as a regulator bag. I liked it so much that I purchased the larger version of this same bag.

    Overall, this bag has lots of space and has very durable construction! However, I would have liked some of that space used to provide more padding around my regulator. I still use a cover for my console/computer, and have bought one for my Octo/Inflator because I don't trust the amount of padding it has (so it really is simply a bag....that holds my regulator). Finally, what would put this bag over the top would be a padded divider to keep the contents from moving around if you don't take advantage of all the space (like me, I only have one reg, which leaves alot of space). If you are going to share this bag with your buddy or carry a spare reg, perfect amount of space, otherwise, buy a smaller bag!

    If you have a nice regulator buy one of the over priced nice regulator bags, if you drag your reg. and gauges all through the rocks and don't really care buy this bag.

        A bit of a snug fit for a large reg set but I would not have wanted it any bigger. With its top mounted compass my console is fairly large and I also carry a second SPG as well as a dry suit inflation hose so my reg set is physically large but it all still fits into reg this bag. Side padding should provide protection for transporting reg in overhead compartment on plane.

          The bag does a good job at holding my Beuchat Reg + Octo, and computer. There is plenty of space in the bag for the gear.

          A shoulder strap would be a great added feature, however my complaint is with the poor quality of the Velcro to close the handles together. After 2 dive trips the Velcro has already unstitched from the material. I just hope the rest of the bag doesn't fall apart.
