HECTOR S Not sure exactly how much it weighs, but an educated guess would be approx. 3-4 lbs. Very nice suit. The best I've ever owned.

RYAN F It only weighs about 5 pounds dry, very lightweight.

BROCK P The Bare 5mm MLT (Medium Large Tall) wetsuit weights 4.5 Pounds. The Bare size chart was spot on for me, so don't worry about a loose or to tight fit.

I used this suit on my open water qualification dives, and it fit better than the 5 previous wetsuits I had tried on before. I am 5' 6" and fairly well muscled with an even height and weight distribution between upper and lower body, so finding a wetsuit that is the right size is very hard for me. I went with the medium/large short, and BARE is the only manufacturer I can find that sizes like this.

In the water, I immediately noticed how warm this suit is. I naturally produce a lot of body heat, so I took this 5mm into northern Japan's Mutsu Bay in June 2010, which had a surface temperature of 65 degrees. At 35 feet, the temperature was 58 degrees, and I was still comfortable. I was also very impressed with the durability of the suit, as I brushed against some of the sharp rocks getting in and out of the water, but did not have any tears in the suit when I inspected it after the dive. The knee protection panels work well too, I hit my knees on a couple rocks but didn't feel it much at all. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I will be purchasing other BARE suits in the future.

I bought this wetsuit for a Bahamas liveaboard that got cancelled at the last minute. So, I've not had a chance to get in the water it yet. So, this review is about fit. So, the 5 flags are preliminary at this time.

I have the 3/2mm version of this Bare wetsuit in a medium size and figured the medium in 5mm would also fit as good as the 3/2mm. But, the 5mm ran a little smaller that the 3/2 in the medium, and I needed to step up to next size of Medium Large.

Again, great customer service from Leisure Pro and a special mention to Aaron for his support in helping me get the wetsuit I wanted in the correct size and color. Now hopefully I'll get a chance to use it, and will report back on well it performs in the water.

I did not get to use this item. The sizing was not for me, I have "curves" and "junk in my trunk". However, it went on smoothly and felt comfortable and was sad to not be able to use it. I will keep trying on others to find one that fits all my "goodness". LOL

There is a size issue with this wet suit around the hip area and its good quality but need to return due to size issue.

I was a bit skeptical of your sizing chart but trusted it and placed the order. Seemed like light-speed delivery. Tried it on and was stunned at the awesome fit! I am 6'2" tall and have a difficult time finding anything that fits me right. And.....This is the best wetuit I have ever owned. What a pleasure to have this while diving.
