This device seems to have a flaw in its design. I put the batteries to test it but didn't used it, didn't even put water over it, a week later, I found that the base had corrosion all over it. The batteries had explode and a fluid was all over the internal housing of the batteries. I change the batteries and it "worked". It lasted one dive. From time to time it went off. So, I found it very unreliable.

I purchased two Aquatec lights with the "constant light on" option. Both had the same problem. If they slightly "tap" against the tank both lights loose battery connection and both go out. You then have to tap it again to turn it back on. I definetely don't recommend the "Constant On" option. The Blinking doesn't seem to have the same problem.

This light is for being seen, not for seeing with... it's a decent marker light.

Very minimal light. It must be dark to see it.
