Shopper I'm looking for a padded reg bag that I can fit two full sets, both will octos and gauges and one being a larger US Divers reg, that will fit easily under an airplane seat. It looks like this can fit two kits, but is it compact enough to slide under a seat as a carry-on?
DANIEL J Yes, absolutely! I carry three reg sets in this bag and it fits.
JEFF A First off, this bag is not padded. it should fit under an airline seat. I don't know if it will hold two rigs or not, if so it will be a very tight fit.
SHANNON A It does hold 2 reg's (aqua lung legend) and 2 computers (suunto cobra with compass in their own cover) but we don't use octo's (we use the alternate air source on the bc). Alternately, have also used it to carry 1 reg, 1 computer (in cover), 1 sealife underwater camera w/housing, and 1 log book (3 ring binder) in outside zipper and this does fit under airplane seats.
GREGORY H I took this bag from Newark to Truk and back with a bunch of stops in between. After 40 hours on various planes I can attest this bag is the real deal. You can easily fit 2 full regs in it and carry it on a plane, in fact, it doesn't even count as a carry on (Or it didn't on Continental flights January of 2012), just a personal item. You can easily stow it in the overhead bin and under the seat in front of you. It's a beautiful bag and I highly recommend it.
Matt E It would be a tight fit, but two sets would fit. There is only one padded pocket inside the bag for gauges so the other set would be in contact with the regs and first stages. The bag would fit under the seat in a plane as it is 5 1/2" thick. Basically you would have a first stage in the top right and bottom left corners and the gauges would be stacked in the middle (one inside the pocket and one outside. the regs would tuck in with the opposite first stage. Thats how I would pack 2 anyway. Hope this helps
ALAN C Yes it will fit under a seat and it will hold two regs, two computers and one mask easily.
TERUHIKO Y It is designed for one set but it is big enough to fit two sets. There is one padded slot for a console. It'll fit under a seat for a carry on.
MARC C Bag should be big enough for your needs. Mine is not very padded but I am very happy with it. Traveled to the Carribean at least twice a year for the last 4 years and it has held up well. It actually fits "standing up" in the overhead bins. I watch closely to make sure no one bangs it with suitcase. Hope this helps.
KRIST B Yes it will easily fit. It is a nice bag, 2 full sets of regs with computers is a tight fit but can be done.
STAS' K It will definitely fit under an airplane seat and will fit 2 sets of regs.
MARK C This is a well constructed bag that will accommodate 2 average sized regulators with octos and computers although it is tight with two. It will also fit under the seat as a carry-on.
MARTIN H It will fit under the seat fine, but you will need to provide padding between the two reg sets and arrange them in the bag to fit.
GEORGE M I have 3 sets plus spare hoses and 2 extra loose second stages. It will fit under seat. But if not I get seats where I am first to board so I have overhead bin choices. Sit opposite the bin so you can see up and check people shoving bags onto yours.
