AMY W Yes, I believe so. It is very stretchy material and although I cannot speak to how it fits a male physique, it fits my curvy female figure nicely. I have owned it since 2008, worn it both under my wetsuit in cold water and on its own in tropical water and it has performed very well in all conditions. I would recommend it.
Shopper I have a Akona 3mm wetsuit size 5XL. I am a big guy 6'2, 300lbs. Does it stretch enough where a 3XL may fit, as that is the largest size?
FRANKLIN R Fairly flexible and very well made, but stretching two sizes may be a "stretch". Height is probably no problem. Maybe order one and try on and return if too tight.
LINNEA F Unfortunately, I am 5'7" and weigh 140# so I have no idea if a 3XL would fit. However, My brother is 6', weighs 260# and wears 3XL size shirts so I know a little bit about "large".
Skins are definitely stretchier than wetsuits. It may depend on where your largest body area is. Are you a body builder with huge shoulders, thighs, arms? Or just fat with a big belly? There were three fat divers were on a dive trip I took to Indonesia and all three were different heights. They all wore dive skins so I know it's possible to find something that will fit.
You may need to do what I do whch for you would be to order several different brands in their largest size, try them all on, and keep the one that fits the best sending the others back.
DAVID O My guess is no. I am 6' 220 and the 2xl is tight. You could try and return it if it doesn't fit.
Lori S I am just curious about sizing. I notice on the size chart you have is just for mens. The sizes start at an extra small, but your sizing chart shows only mens at a small..I am a woman, 5.5, 125pds, waist-28, hips, 34, chest 33...what size should I get?
LINNEA F Hi Lori - I believe I returned it as it was too heavy for me for tropical plus it didn't fit. I ended up getting a Henderson unisex Neosport lycra skin suit and have been happy with it.

LeisurePro S Unfortunately, we don't sell any 2/3 suits, but check out Crassi's 3mm summer suit which is a nice lightweight suit.
Shopper Can the suit be washed in washer of should it just be rinsed?
AMY W I was mine in my washing machine with wetsuit shampoo in codl water. I DO NOT put it in the dryer. I have had it for 4 years and it has held up great.
LeisurePro S You should just rinse the wetsuit to avoid excess wear. If you would like to give it a more through washing, you can look into getting a bottle of wetsuit shampoo for handwashing.
Shopper Would you recommend the skin jumpsuit for 72 degree spring water?
LeisurePro S This suit is recommended for water 70-80 degrees, but provides very little actual thermal value. If you get cold easily, you may want to look into a shorty or a 3mm full suit.
Shopper Does this suit provide warmth by itself or is it just another lycra skin suit?
LeisurePro S It is a lycra suit (appx .2mm) and will provide warmth comparable to a t-shirt.
