Dave T With travel in mind...
How heavy are these fins (pair)?
What is their overall length?
SEAN M Very rigid which I like. Lighter than my old Apollo's and better performance. The spring straps are great.
ROBERT M I got the X3 with std rubber heel strap. The foot pocket is very roomy & comfortable, the swimming performance is great. However they are heavy & bulky to the point where I have returned to my old fins for air travel.
TEERAPAT P my M size pair weighted 1.1 kg. and overall length 80 c.m. On land it feels a bit heavy but underwater it work just find, you may take sometime to get used to paddle stroke, but normal up and down stroke is powerful.
MELINDA F The fit nicely in my checked luggage.
MELINDA F The fins are about 51/2 lbs and 24" long. I have the smalls. They won't fit in your carry-on. I just took mine to Cozumel & loved them. Hope this helps
ALTAF B These things are not that travel friendly. Great pair of fins, but can be a pain if you are going to a far-away dive trip. I bought these back in November for a dive trip to French Polynesia, the fins are long as hell, and barely fit in the bag. I had to get really creative when it came to packing. I couldn't take my BC because it was taking up too much room. I stayed for 9 days in French polynesia and did 3 dives. If you can make room for these fins, they work great, and the steel straps are awesome, but you have to really plan how you are going to pack.
